Damien has worked in the hotel industry for the last 19 years, starting his career in operations with Starwood and Marriott in Europe, moving on to a development role in Mexico.

Before relocating to the Middle East, he worked for Yellowstone Club, a US based ultra-high net worth destination club, as General Manager.

In Dubai, Damien worked as a hospitality consultant with an edge in F&B before working for Meraas, helping them to create their F&B portfolio and bringing brands to Dubai.

Damien oversees the Hospitality Asset Management Function for Colliers International MENA office in Dubai. In his role, he performs strategic asset reviews, develops asset plans and helps owners set up their in-house asset management capabilities.

Damien holds a MBA from INSEAD and a bachelor degree from the Lausanne Hotel School.

Aaron Greenman is Interstate Hotels & Resorts’ EVP of Acquisitions and Development for Europe, responsible for growing the portfolio of managed hotels for EMEA. He joined Interstate in fall 2007 as Head of Development in India, in addition to his responsibilities as COO with the company’s JV partner. In 2010, Aaron was promoted to SVP of Acquisitions and Development for Europe. At the time, Interstate had 10 hotels throughout Europe and presence in several countries.  During his tenure, Interstate has achieved significant growth in Europe, and today the company has over 100 properties, inclusive of signed pipeline, across the UK and Western Europe, Eastern Europe and Russia/CIS.

Previously, Aaron was MD for AFEX Group in Nairobi, Kenya with operations throughout East Africa, and earlier was a senior manager in Ernst and Young LLP’s real estate advisory services practice, based in Boston, New York and Miami. He earned a Master of Management in Hospitality (MMH) from the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration and a Bachelor of Arts from Amherst College.

Jad Shamseddin joined Al Hokair Group as Managing Director for the Hotels Division since March 2018. Holding a Master Degree in Hospitality Management from Faculty of Tourism, Lebanese University, and has previously held several General Manager roles with renowned hotel operators like Starwood and Intercontinental Hotels Group.

Jad joined Al Hokair Group from Millennium Hotels Middle East & Africa, where he was the Regional Director, new Hotels openings.  To date in his career, Jad has led directly the opening and conversion of over 20 properties, ranging from upper luxury to midscale, over the Middle East, Turkey and Georgia.

In his current role, Jad oversees Al Hokair’s 40+ managed and franchised properties under different brands like IHG, Hilton, Marriott, Golden Tulip, Radisson and the home grown “MENA Hotels” brand that is spreading fast in the Kingdom , as well as the Hotels Division Corporate team and a total team of over 2800 employees.

Furthermore, Jad will overlook Al Hokair expansion plans, having recently confirmed a pipeline of over 16 hotels, including 10 Holiday Inn Express across Saudi Arabia, under an exclusive franchise agreement with IHG.

With more than 25 years in the hospitality industry, Khalid had the opportunity to manage various hotels under well-reputed international hotel chains in different countries.

Khalid has had exposure to different business models, resorts, city hotels and mix used development.

Before joining Abu Dhabi National Hotels, Khalid spent 5 years in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He was the Managing Director of Al Hokair Group, where he played a key role in the group’s successful IPO.

Prior  to that,  Khalid worked as General Manager for Accor & Banyan Tree.

Khalid a 53 yr old Finnish citizen of Moroccan origin, holds a Masters in Business Administration from the Strathclyde University, United Kingdom.
