Tea Ros is the Founder and Managing Director of Strategic Hotel Consulting, an international management consulting firm specialising in hotel investments. Tea is based in Switzerland and has 15 years of consulting experience within Europe, Middle East and Asia. She is a member of the International Society of Hospitality Consultants (ISHC), the leading source for global hospitality expertise.

Prior to establishing Strategic Hotel Consulting in 2009, Tea was in Asia with Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels and in the Middle East with TRI Hospitality Consulting.

Tea has comprehensive operational background, having worked with the Four Seasons, Rosewood and Starwood in positions covering F&B, rooms division, sales and marketing, yield management and Six Sigma process improvement and management. Tea is a graduate from the University of Surrey in the United Kingdom.

In his capacity of Regional Vice President Mixed-Use Development, Jerome oversees the expansion of the branded residences business line of Marriott International across all brands in the Middle East and Africa.

Previously, Jerome was overseeing the expansion of all Marriott International brands in the region with a particular focus on the United Arab Emirates and Oman. His extensive network and solid market reputation built over the last decade spent in the region have enabled Jerome to bring some of the company’s most iconic brands to the region, including Edition and Bulgari Hotels & Resorts, as well as expand the midscale and full service brands in underprovided submarkets.

Prior to joining Marriott International, Jerome has advised international clients in successfully conducting hotel transactions both in Europe and the Middle East, having been a senior member of the Capital Markets team of Jones Lang Lasalle in Dubai and previously in Paris.

Jerome holds a BSc in Finance from INSEEC Paris and an MBA from ESSEC Paris in Hospitality Management.

Selim specializes in hotel development & asset management for standalone, mixed use and portfolio level hotel projects, and is a specialist in hotel management agreements, hotel operator search & selection, and market financial studies.

Selim’s extensive knowledge of hotel operations allows him to enhance hotel profitability and drive asset value by carrying out strategic operational and financial reviews. . Currently he is responsible for overseeing the hospitality function at Deyaar PJSC for their pipeline of upcoming hotels.

Selim has worked in the tourism and  hotel industry for the past 23 years at an international level. The early part of his career has included experience in tour and hotel operations, finance, F&B and Human Resources.

Having worked for leading organizations in hotel asset development, management, hotel operators, and developers, Selim is an all rounded hotel real estate professional.

Mandated with the global growth and expansion of all Emaar Hospitality Group brands through management contracts, joint ventures, and acquisitions, Jaidev Menezes brings over fifteen years of global corporate strategy and hotel development expertise to Emaar.

Jaidev has a successful track record in hotel and branded residential development in several markets including Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia and the Americas. He earlier served in corporate strategy and development roles including his most recent position leading mixed-use development for the EMEA region at a global luxury hotel operator.

Jaidev holds an MBA from the Ivey Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Hotel Administration from Cornell University.

Suma Venkatesh photo

Suma Venkatesh, Senior Vice President – Real Estate & Development, The Indian Hotels Company Ltd., heads the company’s Development, Technical Services and Projects functions. She oversees Taj Group’s initiatives for growth through green field developments, acquisitions, licenses and management contracts. Over the last 15 years with the Taj Group, she has been involved in doubling the Group’s inventory to 141 hotels with 17300+ keys.

Ms. Venkatesh is an Electrical Engineer by training and holds a Masters Degree in Management Studies from the Mumbai University in India. She has over 25 years of cross functional experience across industries. Before joining the Taj Group, she has worked in different functions across multiple industry sectors in India.
