Peter Penev is Director Feasibility and Development Finance for Hyatt Hotel Corporation. Mr. Penev is responsible for underwriting new development deals, acquisitions and dispositions in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Mr. Penev joined Hyatt in 2006, where he was instrumental in underwriting most select service deals after the launch of Hyatt Place and Hyatt House brands in North America before transferring to the Zurich office in early 2010. Prior to joining Hyatt Hotels Corporation, Mr. Penev worked for Fairmont Hotels & Resorts for three years in various roles with increasing responsibility, focusing on operations analysis and hotel finance. Mr. Penev received a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University's School of Hotel Administration, with a focus in Real Estate and Finance and he is past President of the Cornell Hotel Society, Chicago Chapter.
