With 40 years of experience in the hotel industry Darroch joined Premier Inn, in 2000 as Operations Director for the 280 Premier Inns in the UK that adjoin one of parent company Whitbread’s pub restaurant brands.

Prior to moving to the Middle East in the summer of 2006 he was Director of Operations and Brand Excellence for Premier Inn, responsible for the brand’s unique and ground braking quality management systems.

Recently recognised as one of the Top 30 Hospitality Professionals in the Middle East, Darroch Crawford is a regular speaker at industry events in the region.
