2008 Highlights

The 4th annual Arabian Hotel Investment Conference (AHIC) took place from 3 - 5 May 2008 at Madinat Jumeirah. The theme 'Ever Increasing Cicrles' looked at the influence and impact that investment has had, and will have on the Middle East region and the rest of the world.

The patron was HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, a key member of Dubai's ruling family, hotel owner and representative, President of Dubai Civil Aviation and Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Emirates Group. The Leadership Award was presented by Sheikh Ahmed to HE Mohamed Ali Alabbar, Chairman of Emaar Properties PJSC.
